This page explains how individuals who communicate with ŞamTürk Dış Tic Ltd Şti, trading as STBC ("STBC", "we", "us"), can request the deletion of their personal information, and how STBC handles such requests.

Information We May Process

When you communicate with STBC through this website, our website enquiry and contact forms, WhatsApp Business, email, Pelin (STBC's AI-assisted sales and executive assistant), or our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and related business communication systems, we may process and store personal and business contact information and communication records where necessary to handle your enquiry and manage our business relationship with you. This may include your name; company or organization; telephone or WhatsApp number; email address; the content of your messages and enquiries; your communication history with us; relevant customer or contact records; and sales- or service-related information you voluntarily provide during our communications.

WhatsApp, Our CRM and Pelin

Conversations conducted through WhatsApp may be processed through the Meta WhatsApp Business Platform and recorded in STBC's CRM for legitimate customer service, sales, enquiry management, follow-up, operational and record-keeping purposes. STBC may use AI-assisted processing, including our assistant Pelin, to help classify enquiries, organize information within our CRM, prepare or assist with responses, and support our internal workflows. This AI-assisted processing supports our team's work; it does not make legally binding decisions about you, and it does not make fully autonomous decisions that produce significant effects on you.

How to Request Deletion of Your Information

You may request the deletion of eligible personal information STBC holds about you by contacting us at info@shamturk.com. To help us locate and act on your request efficiently, please include, where possible: your full name; the telephone/WhatsApp number or email address you used to communicate with STBC; sufficient information to help us identify the relevant records; and a clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your information.

Verifying Your Identity

To protect your information from unauthorized deletion requests, STBC may need to verify the identity of the person making the request before proceeding.

How We Process Your Request

STBC will process valid deletion requests within a reasonable period of time. In some cases, we may need to retain certain information despite a deletion request, where this is required or permitted by applicable law, regulation, contractual obligation, accounting requirements, fraud-prevention needs, dispute resolution, or other legitimate record-keeping obligations. Where this applies, we retain only the information necessary for that purpose, for no longer than necessary.

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

STBC does not sell personal information to third parties.
